Balpakram Abrio : DOROA (Music Video)

BALPAKRAM A'BRIO is originally composed by Pa Louish D. Sangma in the year 1965. This is a song about the beautiful journey to Balpakram hills (Now a National Park) in the South Garo Hills District of Meghalaya State in India. Balpakram is considered a sacred place by the local Garo tribals and is revered as the land of perpetual winds and spirits. The local tribals believe that the spirits of the forefathers and ancestors still live on in Balpakram today. Balpakram is inaugurated as the state's first National Park on the 27th December 1987 by the then Prime Minister Late Rajiv Gandhi.
