Balpakram National Park Information

Balpakram National Park is now OPEN for visitors.

BNP Gate opens at 7:00 am
BNP Gate closes at 4:00 pm
BNP Gate to Helipad area is 12 Kms in distance.
It takes about 90+ minutes to drive up and
90 minutes to drive down.
 
ENTRY FEE : For Indian visitors.
As on 1st March 2026

1. Single entry fee : Rs 10 per head
2. Vehicle entry fee : Rs 50 per vehicle (Heavy vehicles not allowed)
3. Camera Phone fee : Rs 25 per phone
4. DSLR Camera fee : Rs 500 per camera
5. Drone - NOT ALLOWED
6. BNP Guide fee : Rs 500 per guide per day

Please Note

1. Carrying and drinking of Alcohol / liquor inside the National Park is strictly prohibited.
2. Littering of any kind inside the National Park is not allowed.
3. Use of plastic is strongly discouraged.
4. Playing of loud music, screaming, shouting or noise of any kind is not allowed inside the National Park.
5. Vehicle drivers are advised not to use horns once inside the National Park.
6. Group leaders and senior members of the visiting group must cooperate with the BNP tourist guides and follow the timing strictly.
7. Carry an umbrella or / and a sun shade hats. Carry enough water for yourself.
8. Do not throw stone, water bottles, biscuit wrappers, chips packets or anything into the canyon.
9. While visiting National Park, kindly avoid wearing red dresses.
10. Do not panic, shout, chase or tease any animal if you happen to see during the visit.
11. Kindly get proper permission to visit the National Park and allocation of guest houses from the Baghmara office before proceeding to Mahadeo / BNP gate.
12. There are limited accommodation facilities near the National Park. You are requested to confirm your booking at an earliest to avoid inconveniences. Guest houses are allotted on first come first serve basis, subject to availability of rooms.
13. Visitors are advised to bring extra tents and sleeping mats or blankets as per their need.
